Learn all the foundation skills required to use Geoplan Advanced so you can plan, implement, report upon and evaluate your marketing campaigns.
Course objectives
By the end of this course, after working through detailed exercises and extensive hands-on use of Geoplan Advanced, you will be able to:
- Navigate around Geoplan Advanced using a variety of tools and wizards.
- Define target areas for your marketing campaigns.
- Create catchments using radius, Drivetime, polygons and pre-built catchments.
- Create a mail merge from your target area straight into MS Word.
- Calculate market size and potential markets.
- Evaluate a range of media types including TV, radio, local newspapers, door drops or direct mail and plan the most effective strategy for your business.
- Produce reports and maps based on population and household data.
- Produce profiling reports and maps based on population and household data.
- Produce profiling reports and maps based on a selection of optional upgrade modules
(customer lifestyle profiling and business data).
